GoHighLevel – ServiceM8 Integration

6 min read•Updated February 2026

Summary & Purpose

Complete architectural guide on synchronizing GoHighLevel (GHL) leads directly into ServiceM8 to automate job creation, quoting, and invoice tracking for trade businesses.

Overview: How the Integration Works

The GoHighLevel to ServiceM8 integration eliminates manual data entry between your marketing lead funnel and your field operations software.

When a prospective customer fills out an ad form or calls your tracking number, GoHighLevel instantly validates the contact information and dispatches a webhook to ServiceM8.

ServiceM8 automatically creates a new job record with client notes, job addresses, and campaign attribution tags.

Execution Steps

1. When a form is submitted in GHL -> A new job is created in ServiceM8
2. When a call is missed -> An automated SMS sequence triggers and logs a callback task in ServiceM8
3. When a quote is sent in ServiceM8 -> GHL pipeline stage updates to 'Quote Sent'
4. When a job is completed & invoice paid -> GHL records the final job value for offline conversion tracking

Configuring Webhooks and API Keys

Log into your ServiceM8 Settings -> Developer -> API & Webhook Settings.

Generate a secure API Secret Token and copy your unique Account UUID.

In GoHighLevel, navigate to Automation -> Workflows -> Create New Workflow -> Custom Webhook Action.

Set the endpoint URL to the J-Digital ServiceM8 Dispatcher with the appropriate payload schema.

Ensure that phone numbers use international format (+61 for Australia) to prevent SMS delivery failures.

Field Mapping Table

First Name -> Client First Name

Last Name -> Client Last Name

Phone Number -> Mobile Number (SMS Enabled)

Address / Suburb -> Job Site Address

Selected Service -> Job Description / Category Tag

Google Click ID (gclid) -> Job Custom Field 1
